1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases made from Minimalist Furniture KE. By placing an order, you agree to the policies, payment requirements, delivery rules, and return conditions outlined below.
2. Custom Orders
- All custom-made furniture requires a 60% deposit when placing the order.
- The remaining balance and delivery fee must be paid upon delivery.
- Once production begins, custom orders cannot be canceled.
- Deposits for custom orders are non-refundable.
- Clients are responsible for confirming all measurements, colors, fabric choices, and design details before production starts. Minimalist Furniture KE is not responsible for incorrect details provided by the customer.
3. Ready-Made Items
- All ready-made items are delivered within 24 hours in Nairobi.
- Payment on delivery applies to ready-made items delivered within Nairobi.
- Once delivered and accepted, ready-made items are considered final sale.
4. Deliveries Outside Nairobi
- All deliveries outside Nairobi require 100% payment before dispatch.
- Once an item has been dispatched to locations outside Nairobi, the sale is considered final and non-returnable.
5. Refunds & Returns
- Goods once sold are not returnable and no refunds will be issued.
- This applies to both custom orders and ready-made items.
- All items are inspected before dispatch or delivery. Customers must inspect items immediately upon delivery.
- For courier deliveries outside Nairobi, customers must inspect items at the pickup station before signing for them.
6. Damaged or Defective Products
- If an item arrives damaged due to transit, the customer must report it immediately upon delivery, before the delivery team leaves.
- Claims made after the delivery is completed cannot be honored.
- For upcountry courier deliveries, any damage must be reported before accepting or signing for the parcel.
7. Payment Terms
- Deposits and full payments made are non-refundable.
- Minimalist Furniture KE reserves the right to withhold delivery of an order until all outstanding balances are cleared.
8. Order Processing & Timelines
- Production timelines for custom orders vary depending on design and materials.
- Estimated timelines are provided during order placement but may adjust based on workload or material availability.
- Delays do not qualify for refunds.
9. Product Representation
- Images on our platforms represent overall design concepts but may vary slightly in color due to lighting or screen display differences.
- Natural variations in wood, fabric textures, and handmade craftsmanship are expected and are not considered defects.
10. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate measurements and specifications.
- Ensure accessibility for delivery (stairs, doors, lifts, etc.).
- Inspect products upon delivery.
Minimalist Furniture KE will not be liable for:
- Items not fitting through entryways or staircases
- Dissatisfaction arising from incorrect measurements or details provided by the customer
11. Delivery Conditions
- Delivery fees depend on location and item size.
- Failed deliveries due to customer unavailability may incur additional delivery charges.
12. Changes to Terms & Conditions
Minimalist Furniture KE reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our official platforms.
